Fancy Gap, VA (September 29, 2026) - Mountain Fever Records is proud to present “Shelter in the Bay,” the second single from Slocan Ramblers’ forthcoming album, Guests Vol. 1 - Nashville. Written by mandolin player Adrian Gross, the new single captures the group’s distinctive blend of traditional bluegrass musicianship, strong vocals, and the energy they bring to every recording.

“Shelter in the Bay” is a swingy, duet-style track featuring Darryl Poulsen on lead vocals and guitar, Adrian Gross on mandolin, Frank Evans on banjo and harmony vocals, and Charles James on bass and background vocals. The recording is further elevated by acclaimed fiddlers Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, whose playing adds another dimension to the song and its easygoing, swinging feel.

Gross’s songwriting gives the track a fresh perspective while remaining firmly grounded in the elements that make bluegrass so compelling.
