The Churchmen

The Churchmen are a beloved Bluegrass Gospel group from Collinsville, Virginia, whose ministry began in 1989 singing in local churches. For more than three decades, the group has shared their music and message across the country and abroad, combining traditional bluegrass instrumentation with rich Southern Gospel four-part harmony.

Made up of five Christian men who each feel called to music ministry, The Churchmen are passionate about creating music that not only honors their faith but also connects with audiences through heartfelt songs, powerful harmonies, and the unmistakable sound of bluegrass.

The group’s music has earned national recognition, including Dove Award nominations for Bluegrass Album of the Year and Bluegrass Gospel Song of the Year. Their releases have also received significant radio airplay and chart success on the Bluegrass Today, Roots Music, and Singing News charts.

With numerous albums and years of ministry behind them, The Churchmen continue to carry their message of faith, hope, and encouragement to audiences everywhere. Their latest release, Will You Be Going, continues that tradition with heartfelt gospel songs rooted in the timeless sound of bluegrass.

Fancy Gap, VA (September 18, 2026) - Mountain Fever Records is proud to announce the release of Will You Be Going, the new album from beloved bluegrass gospel group The Churchmen. Featuring 11 songs centered on faith, redemption, hope, and the promise of a life beyond this world, the album captures the group’s signature harmonies, heartfelt vocals, and traditional bluegrass sound. With a deep-rooted commitment to gospel music and songs that carry a meaningful message, Will You Be Going continues The Churchmen’s tradition of creating music that inspires, encourages, and connects with listeners.

Will You Be Going features Keith Clark on vocals and bass; Greg Jones on vocals and mandolin; Jay Adams on vocals, guitar, and banjo; Christian Gillikin on fiddle and viola; Carroll Arnn on vocals and banjo; and Keith Souther on vocals and guitar.

With six vocalists contributing to the project, rich harmonies are at the heart of Will You Be Going. The combination of traditional bluegrass instrumentation and the group’s gospel-focused repertoire creates an album that speaks to longtime fans while continuing The Churchmen’s musical legacy.
