Hailing from British Columbia, Canada, Jackson Hollow showcases the bluegrass genre to those waiting to discover it, while respecting the pioneers who started it.

In 2024, the Mountain Fever recording artists received a JUNO Award nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year, along with Canadian Folk Music Award nominations for Traditional Singer of the Year and Ensemble of the Year. Jackson Hollow has also earned multiple international award nominations, including IBMA Momentum Band of the Year. They have appeared on the IBMA Awards red carpet and performed at IBMA World of Bluegrass, including an Official Showcase, International Showcase, and a performance on the IBMA Momentum Awards Show. The band has also won three U.S.-based Josie Music Awards, including Bluegrass Vocalist of the Year and Bluegrass Song of the Year for “Light in My Life,” further reflecting their reach beyond Canada.

Additionally, the band has showcased at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and performed at prominent U.S. venues, including the legendary Station Inn in Nashville and Songbirds in Chattanooga. Jackson Hollow has earned BC Country Music Association Group of the Year honours and multiple Gaylord Wood Traditional Artist of the Year awards. They have also appeared on notable Canadian stages, including the BC Country Music Association Awards, the Rogue Folk Club in Vancouver, and the Burnaby Blues & Roots Festival, along with numerous additional festivals and showcases across the country.

Following the release of their debut album, Roses, Jackson Hollow continued building momentum through a series of singles. In 2024, “Nothing But Sky” became a standout release, reaching #3 on the BanjoRadio chart and further solidifying the band’s presence in the bluegrass radio landscape. Now entering their next chapter, their most recent single, “Wildflower,” charted at #3 on the BanjoRadio chart, marking an encouraging start for the band’s upcoming sophomore album “Deep Blue Sky”.

The band’s music receives airplay across Canada, the United States, and internationally on country, roots, bluegrass, community, and terrestrial radio, as well as SiriusXM. Jackson Hollow has charted on Banjo Radio, Bluegrass Today, and Bluegrass Unlimited, and has been added to multiple Spotify editorial playlists. Jackson Hollow returns with their highly anticipated new album Deep Blue Sky, a collection of richly crafted bluegrass and Americana songs that showcase the band’s signature blend of soaring harmonies, instrumental precision, and heartfelt storytelling.

At the forefront is lead vocalist Tianna Lefebvre, joined by Mike Sanyshyn (fiddle, mandolin, harmony vocals), Charlie Frie (bass, harmony vocals), Eric Reed (guitar), and Michael Kilby (dobro, guitar), forming the core sound that defines Jackson Hollow’s dynamic, modern bluegrass approach to traditional roots music. The album also features special guest appearances from Justin Moses on banjo and Bart McKay on accordion (“Barbed Wire Heart Tattoo”), adding additional texture and depth to the project’s overall sound and feel.

Deep Blue Sky moves through themes of love, reflection and resilience, carried by tight musicianship and emotionally grounded song selection. From uplifting moments to more contemplative turns, the album reflects the band’s continued evolution while staying rooted in the heart of acoustic music.
