Mike Sharp Passes

It’s with deep respect and regret that we share the news of the passing of Mike Sharp as his battle with cancer was lost.

Mike was a wonderful resophonic guitar, bass and guitar player.  He played with Local Exchange, Slate River and of course Michelle Nixon and Drive and many other bands through the years.

Michelle was still shaken when she notified us but had this to say, “His talent and sense of humor was off the chart!! He was loved by all that knew him. He was our brother at heart. Lord, we are gonna miss him”

Born 10/14/1957, he was raised in Hanover County, Virginia and loved hunting, fishing and camping. His other love was his wife of 20+years, Sharon.
