Magnolia Drive – Timeless
Mountain Fever Records is proud to present the new album, Timeless, by Magnolia Drive. The band brings a wealth oftalent from the great state of Mississippi that is on full display on the new project. Their hard-driving traditional bluegrass and gospel music merge slightly with contemporary music, resulting in the sounds reminiscent of the ’60s and ’70s.
Much to their credit, all original band members have remained in place since the band formed ten years ago. They are Don Robinson on banjo and vocals; Steve “Speed” Nowell on bass and vocals; Mike Nowell on guitar and vocals; and Cory Burton on mandolin and vocals. In addition, the band invited fellow Mississippian and label mate Glen Harrell, from the award-winning band Volume Five, on fiddle and Tim Hathorn on Dobro during the studio recording.

“We are so proud that the two singles from the album, “I Won’t Call You” and “The Girl on Sugar Pie Lane,” have been so warmly received by the bluegrass community. It was important to us for this album to represent our love and regard for the more traditional sound of bluegrass.
