Carolina Line – Seth Mulder and Midnight Run
Mountain Fever Records is proud to announce a new single release, “Carolina Line” by Seth Mulder & Midnight Run. Powerhouse songwriters Jerry Salley and Glen Duncan penned the song that perfectly fits with the band’s traditional bluegrass and high-lonesome sound.
Band members include Seth Mulder on mandolin and vocals; Colton Powers on banjo and vocals; Ben Watlington on guitar and vocals; and Max Etling on upright bass and vocals. “We’re excited for everyone to hear our new single, ‘Carolina Line.’ It features our guitar player, Ben Watlington, singing lead in an Osborne Brothers-inspired arrangement that we had fun coming up with, said Seth Mulder. “This song was brought to us by Jerry Salley, and we feel that it is representative of our various influences. We hope everyone enjoys it!”
Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are receiving significant chart success with their previously released single, “One More Night!” That song spent eleven weeks on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Top 20, reaching as high as #2, four months on the Bluegrass Today Monthly Top 20 charts. Additionally, “One More Night” debuted on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s National Survey’s Top 30 Songs in July and moved up the chart this month.
The band’s energetic live performances featuring tight harmonies and “old-style” bluegrass music earned them a nomination for the 2020 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Band of the Year Award. Music fans can catch a live performance by Seth Mulder & Midnight Run at the Bluegrass in the Pines in Rosholt, Wisconsin on August 26 and 27, and at the Pickin’ in the Pasture in Lodi, New York, on August 26 and 27, 2021.
